- My husband is Jim, and we live on the banks of Blackfork, in the Ouachita Forest in Southeast Oklahoma.Our house is on stilks, as the river does flood sometimes. Mostly in the spring We have two little adopted Yorkies, Spice and Sissy. Spice loves to swim and Sissy likes to cool her tummy off only. You can always find something to take pictures of living in this beautiful place. I hope you enjoy some of the stories and pictures found here.

Also like the pictures of spring flowers.
Here in east austin we have blue bonnets all over the country side.

Just proves that you have to have the rain to appreciate the sunshine. So sad for those poor people in Mena.Will remember them in my prayers. And hope some Sunshine comes their way. Your pictures are AWESOME.....as usual.
